5 Worship Songs To Add To Your Playlist Right Now

Updated: Feb 21, 2019

There is nothing else in life I love more than an anointed and powerful worship service. These are often special night events held by churches where there is no sermon or announcements. Instead, it is hours of the band playing songs and people worshiping God in whatever way they prefer to worship. Some people clap, others dance, and others yet sit silently and meditate of the song as they pray to Jesus.

I grew up with these types of services at least once a month.

There is something special about these worship services, but not all churches have these type of events.

That's ok because you can have your worship night right at home. I do it often and honestly, need to do it more.

The very same spirit of God that released Paul and Silas from jail in the Bible as they sang praise to God is still alive and active.

There are days that I feel like I've been in a battle and one of the best things I can do is listen (or sometimes play & sing) to worship music. I love putting on Youtube and setting the atmosphere in my home with praise. Get ready to have church in your living room!

Here are 5 of my go-to songs that always help me get into the presence of God.

I start with this one because it is a powerful reminder to keep worshiping Jesus come what may.

No weapon formed against us will prosper is not just a pretty phrase of poetry. It's real, and it's a promise in scripture. It surely might come against me, but it will not prosper because HE is for us! He is our defender.

Sometimes we need to slow down and focus on Jesus.

The Prince of Peace is my favorite name of God and honestly "The peace that passes all understanding.." is probably my most quoted scripture. Fear not!

The word Hallelujah means " God be praised" and I hope I can bring Him praise in all I do.
